La série Junior est une série de formes classiques de Martin, mais légèrement plus petite, destinée aux guitaristes dont les bras ne font tout simplement pas tout le tour d’une Dreadnought grandeur nature. Fabriquées au Mexique, ces guitares massives sont étonnamment accessibles. Éclisses et fonds, et sur certains modèles également la table, sont en sapele massif pour un son chaud avec des médiums puissants, sinon la table est en épicéa massif pour encore plus de chaleur et de projection. La peinture est unie et mate, claire ou de type Sunburst.

La 000Jr-10 avec sa taille légèrement plus petite qu’une 000 standard est confortable à tenir et agréable à jouer grâce notamment aux bords arrières plus arrondis et au manche high-performance poli à la main. Une guitare pratique avec un son exceptionnel et un design simple, mais de bon goût.
