OM-20th Century Limited Guitar

Special occasions ask for special guitars. That’s why Martin releases Limited Editions of guitars with special features such as rare tonewoods, unique design and construction features or impressive artwork. No matter if you’re a collector or just want to play a really extraordinary guitar, this is the series to look for.

The 20th Century Limited was a luxurious night train, operating between New York and Chicago over the years 1902 through 1967. It was the embodiment of luxury and heavily featured the art deco style. To many railway fans it is still the pinnacle of train travel.
Of course, the same time frame marks the “golden era” of Martin guitars. To celebrate these two pinnacles of their respective industries, Martin, in cooperation with Pennsylvania based watch maker RGM, now introduce a unique package.
The guitar features back and sides of wonderful, Guatemalan Rosewood, while the top is made of VTS-treated Sitka Spruce. The neck is crafted of flamed mahogany. The ebony fretboard, along with the rosette, the pickguard and the bridge, are adorned with art deco style mother of Pearl inlays. The headstock features a picture of the Engine of the 20th Century Limited.
To complete the package, this guitar will be delivered with a specially designed, railroad style watch, handcrafted by Watch Maker RGM. This package is strictly limited to 20 pieces!
