000-18 Modern Deluxe Guitar

The Modern Deluxe series is the culmination of almost 190 years of experience, history and innovation. Best tonewoods and the finest tradition in craftsmanship meet such modern materials and technologies as a titanium truss rod, “liquid metal” bridge pins a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate and a Vintage Tone System (VTS) treated top and bracings. To set these guitars apart from the rest visually, these guitars feature a 30s style mother of pearl script logo, gold frets and flamed maple bindings. The new, non-symmetrical Vintage Deluxe neck profile makes this guitar so comfortable, you can play it all day and the amazing sound will make you want to do just that.

Until now the D-18-MD was the only Modern Deluxe model, featuring a Spruce Top and Mahogany back and sides. Now, enthusiasts of this classic combination will get to enjoy another shape. The 000-18-MD now offers one of the most popular Martin-Shapes with mahogany back and sides. The neckjoint is at the 14th fret, which has been established as the popular standard, due to the easier access to the higher frets. The VTS-treated Top and the carbon fiber bridge plate guarantee a clear, well balanced tone from day one whereas the genuine mahogany delivers a punchy midrange. The gloss finish, inlayed logo and gold plated tuners give the 000-18-MD the visual appearance to match the tone.
